FAQ — Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve collected answers to questions about the estimation process, required materials, turnaround times, and payments. If you can’t find what you need — message us.

What does the valuation process look like step by step?
First, we review the materials (photos/description). Then we compare the item with auction results and market data. Finally, we prepare a value range estimate along with a short rationale and practical guidance.
What photos are best for a valuation?
Ideally 3–5 photos: a full view of the item, close-ups of details, signatures/marks, the bottom/back, any damage, and shots showing the material texture. Daylight photos, no filters.
What information is worth adding besides photos?
Dimensions, material/technique, condition, weight (if applicable), known provenance, description of signatures/marks, place of purchase, and additional photos of documents (e.g. receipt, catalogue card).
Does the valuation include authentication?
No. You receive an estimate and an informational analysis based on the materials you provide and market data. This is not an expert witness opinion and not a certificate of authenticity.
Can I get a refund after the service is completed?
After the service is completed, refunds are not available due to its digital and individualized nature. If you have a technical issue or didn’t receive the email, message us — we’ll help.
How long does the valuation take?
It depends on the option you choose. Standard is usually faster, and Expert takes up to 48 hours. If the item is unusual, we may ask for additional materials.
How will I receive the result?
You’ll receive a summary by email: the estimated value range, a rationale, and any recommendations (e.g. where to sell, what to уточzyć).
Are my photos and data safe?
We treat materials as confidential. We use them only to prepare the estimate and to process the order. You can request data deletion after completion.
What if my item can’t be valued?
If the materials are insufficient, we’ll advise what to add (e.g. details, dimensions). If the item doesn’t qualify for a reliable remote estimate, we will inform you.

Have an unusual case?

Message us and describe the item. We’ll tell you whether it can be valued and what materials to prepare.
